COURSE OUTLINE:
Learn :
ICT concepts, to understand computer terminology and the "language of
computers"
The basics of Word, word-processing - toolbars, document setup, drop
down menus, formatting documents, activities related to each (page
borders, fonts, insert pictures, basic idea of edit of pictures)
About the Internet and E-mail
How to create your own presentations
How to use workbooks and worksheets
Participants:
Please bring some of your own basic documents along
1. in soft copy or on USB / memory stick
2. be prepared to use their documents to re-design or reformat their
documents
Also, tell us about your computer literacy level:
- Have you used computers before?
- If so, how long have you used computers?
- How often do you work on computers? (e.g. once per week for an
hour)
- What do you use computers for - search the Internet, prepare
presentations, type proposals or letters, etc..
