Accredited Short Programme: Technical Stage Practice.
Course Content:
• Introduction to the production process for the Performing Arts.
• Training in the technical disciplines of Stage Management, Stage Lighting, Stage Sound,
Stage Services and Production design.

Admission Requirements:
• Matric Certificate.
• Articulate in two of the three predominant languages of the Western Cape ( i.e English,
Afrikaans, IsiXhosa)
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 25.
• Have a keen interest in Theatre and its technical operations.
• Previous experience in the technical disciplines of the Performing Arts will be advantageous.
• Only short‐listed candidates will undergo panel interviews to be held at Artscape Theatre.

Duration: One year
